Telford Morton

We had another trip to see friends today and took a walk which included visiting this large wooden sculpture of Telford Morton in the arboretum at Letchworth.  He was a keen gardener and allotment holder.  We noticed that leeks, onions and cabbage leaves had been carved into the wood just to enforce his love of vegetables and gardening.  Good day with an excellent lunch at The Fox.
