Lavender (Lavendula genus)
Another of my " I walked to the bins" shots. Being Saturday prepping the Lodge was the main object of the day, that and packing to go down to Sheffield to see ArcaneSpark and the grandkids.
Lavender is a flower which the bees and other pollinators, as a result, both our Lodge and next door have Lavender. I nearly said in profusion but ours isn't yet large enough to be described like that. There are 47 known species of Lavendula and probably not surprising given its aromatic nature Lavender is a member of the mint family.
