Day 1 The Danube

Day 1.
Phew we all made it, thank you Easyjet baggage handlers our bikes are in one piece! We had an hour delay on the run way due to air congestion and thunder storms in Munich, but the German efficient immigration and baggage collection meant we were out the airport not much later than expected. Oh not to mention my bike assembler extraordinaire!


40 miles to near the start of the Danube. Cycling through pretty villages and spotting hares and deer. Staying in a lovely apartment in Neustadt an der Donau - the atumated check in was a little stressful but we are in, and now in the sleepy village having a beer! Maybe made from all the hop fields we have cycled past today
