Dahlias
The morning started with a bit of frustration – battery flat on my car – again. Our kind garage lent us some jump leads which just got us to the garage, after which the battery was condemned as ????? defunct. Lovely garage man put a new one on, well not new but one they had in stock ….. for old cars like mine. Anyway after a burn up on the bypass and back it seems to be charged and working – we’ll see what tomorrow brings.
In the afternoon we drove a few miles north of Whitchurch to fill up Mr HB’s car with very, very competitively priced fuel and on the way home we called in on friends for coffee and a catch up. When we left I was presented with a bunch of H’s gorgeous Dahlias, which I’ve blipped with a ‘Thank You’ card from my lovely Great-Niece for their Wedding Present.
