The Budgie!

This is the "Budgie Bar" previously known as the "Blochairn Tavern." I've been meaning to blip this for ages as I drive past it most days.

This Glasgow pub is famous. It is situated right across from the fruit and fish market. This is a place where folk are working all through the night and where shifts finish at 8am. The Budgie was the first pub in Glasgow to have a licence from 8am in the morning - the idea is that it offered services to those coming off-shift in the market.

Of course...others use it too - and the word very quickly got round making it a busy place first thing in the morning.

Also, typically of some of the rougher areas of Glasgow, this pub has no windows!
