Home sweet home
At least that's what other peoploe have on signs in their house. Not rachel, she has this one with some very good advice for both sexes :-)
She and Ross moved into their new house today and short of capturing pictures of half unpacked boxes, this was the best thing on offer. Actually, considering they didn't get the keys till midday, they have done remarkably well. Everything is in the house and the lounge is actually looking quite tidy. It's a 60s house and the previous owner was an old lady. So, like most houses of its time, there is just a double socket in each room which given the number of electrical devices these two own is woefully inadequate. First big job is to rewire the house me thinks.
This house is smaller but they are much happier with the area - location, location, location.
On a seperate note, met a colleague in Derby today. Somehow we got onto the subject of eyesight and he told me he had age related macular degeneration. I won't go into details, but treatment involves monthly injections into the eyeball. Now I'm not squemish, but there is just something about the thought of someone coming at your eyeball with a syringe that gives me the willies.
Big day tomorrow - 200 lengths of the local pool. Good excuse to pig out on pasta. I'm looking forward to that at least.
