Nadine Pierce, a snapshot

It was a 5.30am alarm for me this morning to be at the showground in Peebles for 7am. I soon discovered that having a massive stand of 3 tables (usually I have just 1 table) wasn't quite as simple as just taking some extra props and products. It took me two hours to cobble something halfway decent together (usually it's half an hour), it wasn't my finest but it was OK - lots of lessons plus some things added to my shopping list.

It was a busy/successful day and thankfully I had help on the stand in the afternoon. Lots of friends stopped by to say hello which totally made the day. I've picked up a Christmas Fair in Biggar off the back of this one and have signed up for this one again next year.

I was able to start packing up about 5pm and it was up the road as quick as possible to unload (the unpacking can wait until Monday) and get some leftover Italian takeaway down my neck - this lot was demolished in no time. I was absolutely exhausted and in bed by 8pm. Markets are fun but they do take it out of you, especially bigger ones like this.

This was the only photo I took all day but I can live with a crap blip today :)
