Camlocks!

The old kitchen base units we had in our garage were collected today by their new owners.  I came across a 'bucket' of hinges I had kept as just in case spares and gave those away too as I can't see me using them and I doubt the new owners will get hinges thrown in if/when they buy some doors. 

These Ikea Camlocks were the only thing left from the might come in useful box .... but we have decided to save our children the trouble and take them to the tip recycling centre ourselves.

Having said that, I quite like the blue and brown tinges a little extra saturation has made visible.  Perhaps I'll keep them as a rainy day blip standby :-)
