Is it a bird? Is it a branch?

Hubby has a very lovely camera that he's too afraid to take anywhere for fear of breaking it/losing it/dropping it/getting it wet/having it stolen.

I've decided enough is enough and I 'took charge' of it tonight to play about with. I took some lovely shots of a fluffy daffodil, a nibbling squirrel, a haunch of venison dangling in my neighbour's back garden (he's going to give us some but I know it's roadkill and I don't know if I can bring myself to eat it), some fungi, some blackbirds and, of course, my boys. However, I chose this shot because the daff, the birds and the boys will all still be there tomorrow, but the birdy branch in this shot will not. So there.
