Apple Cucumber

This is the blip idea I had yesterday for Silly Saturday, until I saw the caterpillar. I thought it was a silly name and a silly shape for a cucumber.
When T went to the garden centre earlier this year for his tomato and cucumber plants, this was they only variety they had available.  I think he must have been a bit too early (or possibly a bit too late).
As I didn't photograph it yesterday, I thought I had better grab it this morning before it is sliced for a salad.
