Hendstock 22

Well, the sun shone for us but the evening wasn’t without complications. After 6 months of rehearsing our act, Janine woke up with no voice. She didn’t speak to anyone all day and just about managed to get through our song. At 7pm, the Accelerants drummer sent a message to say he had covid and was too ill to perform. Thankfully, we know some amazing people who stepped into the breech (Johnnie and Ian, you were marvellous).
It was definitely the busiest Hendstock we’ve ever had, we think about 500 turned up in the end. It was noisy, rowdy and quite drunken. What more could we ask for?
