All Rise

I had an early start at work (4.45am) and a stress filled day of deadlines, some hit, some missed.   I'm fed up of this and think it might be time to retire.  I was hoping to wait until October 2023.  I'll have worked for the company 25 years then and I thought that would be a nice full stop.   No gold watch or mantle clock these days but some free spending money and an extra two weeks paid holiday.  I'm not sure I can keep up the pace I'm having to work these days for another 15 months. 

Anyway, I knocked off at 5.00, hurled the dogs around the park, got home, quickly changed and we made it to the theatre with 10 minutes to spare.   

Prima Facie, an NT Live event cinema presentation.   Wow, wow, wow, an absolutely powerhouse performance from Jodie Comer.   If you get the opportunity to see it, go with haste.   It's being repeated into August at a cinema near you.
