Arnolfini
We've had a bit of a 'Bristol Gallery Day', visiting the "M-Shed", the "Watershed", & the "Arnolfini Arts Centre" ...
... all were really excellent, and also all within easy walking distance of where we are staying :-)
The main snap is of the Arnolfini-building (originally an 1830's iron-founding warehouse), which was hosting a major exhibition entitled: "Forest: Wake this Ground" - full of works that recycled, reused and repurposed resources; all with the aim of portraying forests’ ancient rhythms.
Have also put up an extra of "The Matthew" (out on the River Avon), which is a modern reconstruction of the original boat that John Cabot sailed to Newfoundland in 1497.
