The day after

Emily and Andy's wedding was perfect in every way, including a perfectly acceptable 25 degrees of sunshine.

Today the temperature in Hertfordshire has increased considerably as has the perplexing breeze.

The Bainbridge Brothers offered to make us (40 or so) out of towners, a light lunch today. As we gathered, a sudden gust propelled the gazebo out of the car park and over the wall towards next door's garden. It took 10 of us to haul it back and take it down.

Next thing to go was the central marquee pole, threatening to bring the whole thing down on top of us.

Luckily we could retreat to the studio which was safer and cooler.

The Bainbridge lunch was excellent!
