Otterless
[Backblipping]
In the morning we went to a windswept Bale Share beach. While the rest of the country either prepared for a heatwave, or baked (I forget the exact timing), the Outer Hebrides were cold. And I mean *cold* - I had my woolly hat on in the morning. Kite flying was a disaster - the wind was too strong for our little kite.
Then we walked part of the Hebridean Way, and as we did so , the weather broke and the sun finally made an appearance. Didn't warm up much, but it did make it a bit more pleasant.
In evening we went back to Berneray to see if we could spot any otters. We failed. But I reckon Berneray might be just about my favourite place in the OH, so it didn't matter.
