The iron hippo.
Up early and off to shop in M&S. Pleased to find it had rained in the night. The forecast for this week is rain which is really needed. Photographed one of the Glenrothes hippos. I don’t know how many there are in the town but a fair number and this one is a favourite of mine. Came home to my Sunday croissant, crosswords and Wordle then read until Andy came for coffee in the afternoon. Lots of coffee, cake and gossip. Discovered that Falkland Estate may be put up for sale which could mean big changes in the village. The old factory site too which has been empty for a good few years is being considered as a possible home for a whisky museum. There’s been very little change in the village since I came and now there may be a bit of an upheaval. Let’s hope it’s a change for the better.
