Full blown

Funny old day today warm in spots, very wet in spots but mostly dullish and coldish. We managed to avoid most of the showers, firstly when we were swimming, then when we were at Lighthouse cafe, then garden centre, then supermarket. Each time we came out to wet pavements and sunshine.

Over the last four years I have got used to not having a garden but I miss choosing plants. It was a pleasure to choose some shrubs for gifts today. Tomorrow we'll help to plant them.

These roses have graced Lighthouse for three weeks.
