There be . . .

. . . dragons.
My goodness aren't they very difficult things to actually capture and get sharp when it is sunny!
Terri and I had a wonderful stroll along the Tiverton Canal this morning, looking for insects.  We found several small demoiselle type things but no dragons until we went further afield. 
Further afield involved a delicious ice-cream and the extra is the view from the path along the canal.
The drive home was horrendous as there'd been an accident on the A361 which caused huge backlogs and closed the road . . . we eventually managed to get onto a back route to the A377 and came that way.
