Fresh fruit

Living in a city there is so much more choice of fresh fruit compared to living in a small village on an island!  M& R's sideboard was laden with it and there were boxes of mangos and bananas as well!  Delicious, spoilt for choice as to what to have with my breakfast! All of it is ripe and very tempting to eat too. Most of what we get is either not quite ripe or just past its best!

Later Andy and I went for a rake around the charity shops. A few things caught our eyes! 

An afternoon of tidying up M&R's garden, planting up a terrarium and sowing some herbs in pots for them. Lovely and sunny. Everything is growing really well, especially the hanging baskets and pots.

Lots of laughing and chatting, long meal times round the table talking about the past and exchanging memories. Plenty of wine flowing too! Really enjoying being here again.
