Lost and found

We saw this dog on our walk this morning, ambling along all by itself. On closer inspection it turned out not to be wearing a collar. I was just wondering how best to find out where it had escaped from when we heard another dog up ahead and went to investigate. Thankfully it was with the owner. Turns out this dog doesn’t like going over the bridge round the corner while its owner feeds Poppy the pig and so waits on its own until it’s time to go home again.
Mind you, that doesn’t explain the lack of collar…
