Hedren collider

Eek, Emmy had a scare today. We'd just arrived at Steve's when we heard a rustling at the end of the settee, near the floor. A savage, gigantic sparrow swept up into the air like Q the Winged Serpent. Emmy and sister Millie, like the true hunters they are, ran screaming in the opposite direction. but EdiSteve swept into action, diving on the window to open it outwards, allowing the hideous creature to fly free rather than rip our throats out. Phew. I need cake.
