Pumpkin Hundredweight

It may be an object, but at least it's not inaminate.

The weather is truly autumnal outside so there's no chance of some late evening sun as in yesterday's blip. So I've decided to display a close up of the leaf from one of the pumpkin plants we have potted and have pride of place on the kitchen window sill.

My first batch were planted outside before we went on holiday earlier in the month and unfortunately became the victims of a triple attack from the rain, wind and snail gangs.

This beauty is receiving round the clock attention in the hope that we can actually get something out of it...
