A Mono Morning

Frosty start to the day, then cloud cover making for a miserable day.

The fire was lit early, but we kept the drapes drawn for a while, I then thought best to pull back the drapes to check  if there was any sort of sunrise colours.  Nah, so took a photo anyrate, just in case I should need it later for blip.  
And since I haven't picked up the camera I'm using this for Mono Monday's theme of  "check" .   A long shot, but I'll go with it, but maybe there is a check pattern in the paddocks ?
