Lucky!

Another cold, miserable day with the inversion layer staying put all day - extra taken at about 4.30pm.   While walking round the lakeshore I stopped on the beach to take a pic of a tree and its reflections when I heard a chirp behind me.  I turned and this Chaffinch was on a fallen tree right over my shoulder and there he/she remained, posing while I took photos. Some days you just get lucky!
