Now you see it…

… and now you don’t! Believe it or not there is a nuclear submarine in this photo. It was being led and also followed by a tug at either end. This view is looking from Dunoon over the beautiful River Clyde, and when the subs are at certain points on their journey to Faslane they have to surface for safety reasons. My research tells me this was USS North Dakota (SSN 784) Virginia-class. I promise it is there - I saw it with my own eyes!
