Shade!

A couple of years ago Jeff built a patio in the backyard. It receives westerly late afternoon sun and wasn't useable in summer. He just finished building a structure to hold a sun shade. We've enjoyed some pleasant evening meals now that the area is shaded.

A heat wave is predicted for most of the coming week, so I expect it will be too hot to be anywhere in the afternoons and evenings, except inside with A/C!
