Tea break
This morning I went out with the walking group for a walk around Selattyn's lanes. There were 17 of us so a good turnout and a lovel walk.
I called at F's on my way home. His daughter H was there and the two of them were taking out some of his kitchen units. He's converting two small rooms into one kitchen diner. The last few days has been the demolition of the adjoining wall - you can see what is left on the right hand side of the photo.
We had a drink of tea or coffee but to do this F had to climb on top of the unit to reconnect the electric supply to boil the kettle. I didn't stay long as I didn't want to be in the way and there were no jobs that I could help with.
It's going to be strange in his kitchen with half of the cupboards missing. He can now put in the drainage pipe which will go to the new downstairs lavatory when he has built and fitted it. It's all going to be great when it's finished which will (hopefully) be next year.
