Checking for Fish

This Arctic Tern was flying over the wetlands today, occasionally diving down and very occasionally coming up with a small fish.

Doesn't look bad in mono, although the stabby beak looks so ferocious I left it and the feet in their original colour. Almost mono then - I've just desaturated everything except the red and the orange.

Who'd be a politician, eh? With both previous cabinet members telling everybody how crap their government is, they're each now telling us how they're more right wing than the other one.

Neither of them is addressing the issues - climate change, resource depletion, transport, international relations and trade... All they're interested in is being elected and policies can come later. Maybe.

I feel like the little fish... watching anxiously as the mighty predators sail overhead, unsure whether I'm likely to get a stabbing or just be shat on again.
