A walk in the woods

TSM’s actual birthday saw us at the sculpture park in Churt. They have some 1,500 pieces in ten acres of woodland, which is a bit overwhelming so you need your filters. I went for the more abstract, colourful stuff. After that we went to the Packhouse but I managed to avoid spending money for once.

I had hired a car for the day - thanks to the global situation we have been without wheels for several weeks with no end in sight. Crazy. But it was good to be mobile again even if it was in an old model with gears like a rusty truck.

In the evening we had a take out. All very civilised.

Weather much cooler today.

Sunak and Truss are going at it like boxers. Bloody ridiculous. Politics has become a farce in the UK. What I would give for some grown-up behaviour…
