Fire

Been waiting for this to happen (have seen several raging fires on the cliff-tops here). Everything is so dry, yet the council in their wisdom have not banned BBQs on the beach. There are even bonfires and BBQs on the cliff-tops.

Boscombe cliff was ablaze a couple of hours ago. Alerted by ‘E’. Being a curious soul I had to dash out to check it, ‘V’ - a neighbour came with. By the time we got there it was over, just a fire engine still hosing from the bottom of the cliff. Always concerns It could reignite so they have to keep an eye on.

The goats are safe - and so are we! Well done to the fire services for putting it out

Not much else. Went for a walk in the afternoon and we ended up at the Nici for a drink. So now what is the fruit salad made from a couple of hours ago, and continue to watch the debate between Liz Truss and Ricky Sunak
