Hospital Check

Had some time off this afternoon to take my youngest to the National Hospital - The Golden Jubilee in Clydebank. She needed a specialist bone scan to check if there is any damage to her bones through lack of eating etc. It's about 50 minutes from her current unit and I said I'd help them out by taking her. I was at the same hospital having the same scan 10 years ago after a hip fracture. It's a specialist machine and the only one in Scotland.

We managed to squeeze in a drink on the way back. Reward to her for coping well and me for navigating across Glasgow.
