Classic summer

Oh dear..
. I had a short description but it got erased,!
It went something like this….
Just as the girls were about to go put their newly painted frogs on the trail just before noon , they heard  a crackle and a thump..a tree fell on our line up the hill!    No power.    So they had a walk and played at neighbors sport court awhile.   We picked up Peter and Tatum so now we are 8 …more people than we’ve had here in several years…we have a generator for the fridge but not for the well pump.   And it was hot …( all of 79f)  so a jump in the sea was required.  Somehow I think I didn’t get all 3 , and Kirsten’s sister too, at once,   Then some time on the beach…Maple loves the water as long as she can stand,,,.. dinner on the grill…. More performance….. .  BC hydro didn’t get here til 8:00pm… we heard the chainsaws after 10:00 up on the hill… in the dark now… I managed to put the  blip from the phone,….,,…. But finally just went to bed. .    The guys walked by our cabin after 11:00 shining lights on  us.and voila the power came back on before 11:15.  Hurrah!
