What is this?

One of the really good things about golf courses is the unbelievably surprising wildlife and plants that pop up. I have no idea what this is. Had a quick glance in the wild flower book but no luck. Anyone have an idea?
Golf was fun and having looked at the forecast and gone armed with wet weather gear we had wall to wall sunshine all day. How lucky we were! BUT Not lucky or nearly skill full enough to win!!
