Park Life

I'm feeling mighty chuffed with myself today. My lovely husband was away in Edinburgh all day leaving me to fly solo with the three little ones.

Not only did we make it to school before the bell, but both boys had all the relevant bags and equipment and were in pretty cheery moods. The littlest one obliged by sleeping when helpful and not waking for a feed until we were back home after dropping in some overdue library books and picking up some necessities.

Once home we had just over four hours of peace and quiet, out of the hailstones and by the warmth of the stove, before having to head back up the road for the school pick up and the inevitable 45 minute play in the park.

Pizzas and ice cream for tea whilst watching a Friday night film and then just as I was seriously beginning to flag, daddy arrived home :)

Not bad 2 weeks post c-section. Not bad at all, even if I do say so myself'!
