Woodcock

Absolutely thrilled with this shot. My first ever woodcock and it posed most obligingly. Great camouflage: I have to thank Daughter #2 for spotting it. Younger, sharper eyes, than mine.

The day had started well, too, with my second visit to Sherwood Pines parkrun Despite leaving my running shoes back in Newcastle, I was still pleased with my time.
