London is Great

I was on a training course today at a venue I visited when I completed the orientation & induction for my company 2 years ago.

This was before "The Shard" was complete and the view was mainly the Tower of London only. I love the Tower.

Amazing to live and work in a city where you know you are walking in the footsteps of people who came and lived circa 400 or so years before you. It is a humbling thought and often puts my life and concerns into perspective for me.

Now "The Shard" is complete and the skyline is changed forever but I have to say I lie the juxtaposition I new and modern against old and organic.
