Rose Garden
It is the holiday season and it appears most of the inhabitants of Aberdeen have flocked to the cafes. We made an attempt to visit the cafe at Queen’s Cross. The cafe was so busy we decided to go to Hazlehead Park instead.
The cafe at the park was slightly less busy initially, however there was an invasion a minute or so after we arrived. We had decided it was too cold to sit outside, but we were uncomfortable inside when it became so full of people.
We left even before we had finished our coffees. The sun came out briefly while we were in the rose garden so we took an opportunity to sit on a bench to enjoy the sun and the view. Before long a cloud came over so we returned to the car before the rain arrived, which it did as we got to the car.
Sunshine and showers for the rest of the day. The sun is warm, but the air temperature never got above 14º as far as I noticed. A little too cool
