Cape Honeysuckle

These lovely flowers are in full bloom around the village, making beautiful splashes of orange.
The day started off bitterly cold - an icy wind cut through us on the golf course. I don't think I have ever played with so many layers of clothes on, plus warm scarf, plus woolen cap! By early afternoon the day was pleasantly warm. I will blame the icy wind for my poor round of golf!!!
