Life in a Northern Town

Low

The duck pond water level is as low as I’ve seen it.

Safely back in Hudds - almost as soon as I left Plymouth my Mum took a turn and ended up back in hospital. The care she received in hospital last time was excellent but she was really let down by her GP’s aftercare. I could write a book! And those muppets vying to be our next PM didn’t mention the crisis our NHS has been allowed to get into, in their debate.

I am catching my breath before I head back to the South West.

It’s my Mum’s 85th birthday today - she reckons she’s been wished happy birthday by everyone in the hospital!
