The calm before the storm

And it stormed pretty mightily, metaphorically speaking, for the rest of the day (& night!).

So lovely to have the breather of friends over for lunch after church.

Church Camp (aka Connect) starts tomorrow and Elbows is leading & the 2 youngest are going. I’m not a last minute person and nor is MightyMouse, but Elbows & NoaNoa are.

Last minute activities even included foraging for firewood for 4 evenings with camp fires, costume collecting, packing, editing, talk writing, car emptying, car packing, archive ditching, … and actually … I could go on and on.

I knew it was coming. It’s the way half this family operates.
