Waiting to Bloom

We’ve had a cool day, very welcome despite the frequent rain, so doors and windows have been open as much as possible. Strangely, the flat’s not much cooler but at least it’s well aired!
Headed out this evening to stretch my legs and decided to check out the local pick-your-own flower patch. Not much happening on the gladioli front but the first batch of sunflowers are in full bloom. The next batch are all ladies in waiting.
