The old and the new.
The Buttercross formally used as a market place, is in the centre of Chichester and was built by Edward Story, Bishop of Chichester between 1477 to 1503. We had a lovely meal in the Ivy restaurant next to the Buttercross and this plaster figurine was in the ladies washroom. However, I don’t think that it will still be there 600 years from now.
