sunshine on a cloudy day

Well the whole day was not cloudy, just now as the afternoon thunderstorm is rolling in. Laney and I took a quick walk around the block to beat the rain and these bright Black-eyed Susans beckoned me.
I just learned another name for this species of coneflower is Gloriosa daisy.
I like that better than a girl getting a black eye!
