From a Crouch to a Crawl

Two baby sand-hill cranes were both reclining and resting in the grass. Mom and dad started to move, so the babies had to follow.

I got an 11 shot sequence, and this was my favorite of the 11. So gangly, so grown-up, so adorable.

And to think there are people in Michigan that want to have them included in the hunting season. They want to put it on the ballot.

I hope it never comes to it, but...
I hope it will be in vain...
to include the shooting of the crane.
