we gave our friends a helping hand this evening - we were in charge of the refreshments for a show our friends gave in a lovely village hall...

with great teamwork we served up coffees and teas to all who attended...

village hall kitchens are fantastic places... all mod cons, yet they take me back into the past of Sunday School, and Brownies... orange squash and shortbread biscuits...

Glad to say the evening was a great success for our friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed working in the kitchen and manning the serving hatch!
