Cringletie House

Today we travelled to a beautiful location near Peebles to celebrate L ‘s “big birthday” .

Cringletie house was built in 1862 in the Scottish baronial style to replace a 1666 house. The walled garden where the blip was taken is a delight to walk in.

Much fun was had by everyone and my old pal D and his brother and I had a hilarious time “putting” on the grassy slope watched by his 2 young grandsons.

One of the extras shows the rear view of a piper captured as he was leading a group of American horse riders into the dining room - I wonder if they were going to have a meal of haggis ? !
