crawfish season

Ambassador selection all morning and into the afternoon and then..... crawfish!

North Texas Oil and Gas Crawfish Boil tonight down at the stockyards.
Have to say it (somebody's gotta do it): they were a tad salty... which means I'm definitely looking forward to going home for our 36th annual crawfish boil in Beaumont in a couple of weeks. To celebrate the end of my years in a classroom, maybe we'll open up one of those fancy bottles of wine like we did two years ago.

That. Was. Delicious.

Early night: fell asleep around 8:30pm. I need sleep. I just can't get enough.
