Hope coming into focus

It was a warm day. 39deg warm in fact 
And the fact that my AC in the car decided to have a hissy fit didn't help. Still, I've got an appointmernt to take it into the dealership tomorrow.
We went to watch the Caps play Toronto here in BC in the final of the Canadian Championship. Winning gives qualification to play in Concacaf Champions League.
After Toronto spent mega bucks to attract not one, but 3 players from the Italian National team, I wasn't holding out much hope for the Caps.

Guess what, Caps played well, were more than deserving of a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation time, and then won on penalties.

I can't smile wide enough.....


Ah well...
