By The Beach

A spectacular flower head in the planter next to the Beach House cafe on the Prom. Taken on the way home from football. We started off with hopelessly uneven sides - eventually the team that were winning easily  listened to us and swapped first one player and then another. Still left us with a hobbled G in goal which meant that unless a shot went straight at him it was a goal if it was on target but it was at least a competitive game with the new sides, even if we didn't reset the score to 0-0 which would have been a good idea. Scored a couple myself, both first time shots from low crosses, one from a corner and another from a cross in open play, as we started to play some decent football and score some goals. Think the problem was that there were too many younger, fitter players all on the same team. There is quite an age range taking part and we probably need to make sure there aren't too many over-fifties on the same team!
