A visit to Connaught Water

Today is our day with Stella-Rose and as it is now the school Summer Holidays we did not have Violet.  Although it did turn out to be rather grey and cloudy, we managed a visit to Connaught Water, where S-R loves the waterfowl and is delighted to see them fed.
I usually put up a pic of the lake itself or at least some of the birds but today I've gone for a selection of the wild flowers to be found there: top row, rosebay willowherb, woody nightshade, knapweed, bottom row, cow parsley, ragwort, purple loosestrife.
